Growing Stronger Communities Through Sustainable Livelihoods

Many rural communities rely on agriculture as their primary source of income, yet they often face challenges such as limited access to water, farming equipment, quality seeds, markets, and financial resources. Without proper support, farmers struggle to maximize productivity and generate sustainable incomes.

Our programme addresses these barriers by strengthening agricultural production, promoting value addition, supporting local businesses, and connecting producers to profitable markets. By investing in agriculture, agribusiness, and local enterprise development, we help communities increase food production, create employment, improve household incomes, and stimulate long-term economic growth.

    • Improve agricultural productivity and food security.
    • Strengthen local economies through entrepreneurship and agribusiness.
    • Support sustainable farming practices.
    • Increase market access for small-scale farmers.
    • Empower women and youth through agricultural enterprise.
    • Promote financial literacy and cooperative development.

Community Gardens Development

We aim to establish 10 community gardens over the next five years, creating reliable sources of food, employment, and income for local families.

Agricultural Infrastructure Support

We provide essential agricultural infrastructure, including:

  • Boreholes for irrigation
  • Farming tools and equipment
  • Improved farming resources
  • Sustainable agricultural practices
These investments help farmers increase productivity while reducing dependence on seasonal rainfall.

  • Crop Production

We support the cultivation of high-value and nutritious crops, including:

  • Tomatoes
  • Onions
  • Mangoes
  • Lettuce
  • Garden Eggs
  • Other locally suitable vegetables and fruits

  • Market Access & Cooperative Development

We work to establish collection and processing centres that purchase produce from local farmers, add value through processing, and connect products to larger local and regional markets. We also strengthen farmer cooperatives to improve bargaining power, market access, and long-term sustainability.

Why Agriculture & Economic Development Matters

Agriculture is more than food production—it is a pathway to economic empowerment, improved nutrition, job creation, and stronger communities. When farmers have access to the right tools, training, markets, and financial knowledge, they can increase productivity, improve incomes, and build resilient local economies.

Through sustainable agriculture and enterprise development, we are creating opportunities that benefit families today while protecting livelihoods for future generations.
